St. Regis Hotel reopens after nearly $2 million in renovations and upgrades
During this summer's Covid-19 shutdown, the St. Regis Hotel took the opportunituy to make some planned renovations and upgrades to the hotel. Along with the planned upgrade to the air condiition systems, a complete redesign and renovation of the St. Regis Room was completed. It's sure to make the hotel's included breakfast service an even more enjoyable way to start the day.
St. Regis Hotel reopening planned for September 1st
The days are counting down and the St. Regis Hotel is thrilled to be reopening on September 1st with extensive renovations and some very special offers.
Like so many of you, the St. Regis Hotel team has been working hard on self-improvement during the COVID-19 break and will proudly reopen having completed a full set of renovations to the St. Regis Bar & Grill and the St. Regis Room where the hotel's signature breakfast service is offered. Friends old and new will be delighted by the new décor, floor plan, and new TVs whether they’re stopping in for dinner, watching the game, or simply enjoying the hotel’s signature complimentary breakfast service.
St. Regis Hotel receives 2020 AAA/CAA Best of Housekeeping Award
The St. Regis Hotel is immensely proud to have been awarded the 2020 AAA/CAA Best of Housekeeping Award given to hotels whose “housekeeping significantly surpassed expectations, as measured during the AAA/CAA inspector’s comprehensive on-site inspections.”
The St. Regis Hotel has always placed the highest priority on offering our guests the cleanest possible environment and every room is given a detailed inspection before being released for check-in. And while the new reality of COVID-19 has led us to make number of changes to housekeeping procedures which are explained HERE, we remain completely committed to offering pristine, clean and healthy accommodations to all guests.
In receiving this award, we would like to recognize our housekeeping staff who work diligently to maintain the hotel’s exacting standards and would like to thank each and every one of our guests who place their trust in us for a safe, memorable stay.

The St Regis Hotel team has always taken immense pride in the cleanliness of our hotel, and the detailed inspection each room receives before check-in. As we move toward reopening on September 1st, we are enhancing and updating these rigorous programs with the following measures for your safety and health.
- Housekeeping staff will wear personal protective equipment and change gloves while cleaning guest rooms between stays.
- Guestrooms will be left vacant for a minimum of 24 hours between stays.
- In-room housekeeping will not be offered.
- Optional door side housekeeping and linen services will be available.
- Room service will not be offered.
- Room inspections will also include secondary disinfecting procedures.
- Bell and front desk staff will also wear PPE and will clean all public areas through the day.
- Front desk will have separation screens and staff will obey social distancing guidelines.
- All staff will undergo a temperature check before they begin their shift.
- Hand sanitizer dispensers will be installed in public areas.
- All guests will be asked to undergo a temperature check upon arrival.
- Complimentary PPE "Stay Safe Kits" with two pairs of gloves, two masks, hand sanitizer and alcohol wipes will be available to guests at the front desk.

The St. Regis Hotel is very proud to have our logo worn proudly on the Web.com Tour and Mackenzie Tour--PGA Tour Canada by Stuart Macdonald. This Vancouver native earned his way onto the Web.com tour through qualifying school in December 2017 after coming off a season highlighted by two top-15 finishes in the Mackenzie Tour PGA Tour Canada.
Macdonald is a Purdue University Graduate and former member of Team Canada’s Amateur Squad before he turned pro. We look forward to watching his progress!
